James Madsen, owner of James Barton Design Build, along with additional BATC members, suppliers and vendors recently came together and volunteered their time to remodel a basement for the family of Wesley Cureton, a US Army Vet of 22 years who was injured in Iraq.

“When we were asked to participate by the Wounded Warrior Foundation, I knew immediately this was something our company wanted to be involved in”, said James. The Cureton’s are such a deserving family and have given up so much for this country. Wesley served for all of us, now it’s our time to give back to Wesley and his family.

Phase one of the Cureton remodel was a lower level finish to ensure the space was accessible and easier to navigate. Phase two will be a small kitchen addition and kitchen renovation to ensure safe access to the house and easy use of the kitchen.
