Client Referral Program

James Barton Design-Build would like to say thank you for your business and past referrals. Much of our growth has been because of your trust and confidence in our remodeling services. To show our appreciation, we would like to invite you to participate in our NEW Client Referral Program effective March 1st 2009.

For each referral you send us that turns into a signed contracted that is completed and paid in full; you will receive a reward equal to 1% of the original signed contract. (Example: your referral signs a contract for $100,000 model project, you get a reward of $1,000 just for giving out our name)

For new construction referrals by real-estate professionals, JBDB will enter into a one time representation agreement. Rates can vary based on involvement by both parties and shall be agreed upon before a contract is signed. (Average 2.7%) An agreement must be in place after initial meeting with customer. If an agreement is not in place, no fees will be paid out. This section does not apply to individuals not holding a license or actively selling real-estate.

It is easy to refer and be rewarded under our program. Just follow the simple steps below and earn your reward today.

Referral Steps:

1. Call or send us an e-mail stating that you are sending us a referral.
2. Have your referral inform us at initial contact that they were referred by you.
3. We will meet with the person that you referred.
4. When they sign a contract and all work is completed and paid for in full you will receive your referral reward.

Rules and Stipulations:

1. 1% will be paid from the original signed contract. Change orders or subsequent contracts not included.

2. Reward is paid at the end of the job after completion and payment in full.

3. The referral must be brought to JBDB’s attention either before or no later than the first meeting with the potential client.

4. The program applies to referrals after March 1st, 2009.

5. For referrals before March 1st, 2009 the rules under the referral points program still apply. Points cannot be redeemed for cash rewards.

6. Payment over $600.00 will require a W-9 to be filled out and a 1099 issued as per IRS rules as they apply.

7. For projects over $50,000 a disclosure statement will be required and need to be signed off by all parties before the initial meeting for anyone holding a professional position such as: Realtors, Accountants, Insurance Agents, and Attorneys.

8. No disclosure is required for jobs under $50,000 for the professionals listed above.

9. The sponsor shall have the right to terminate, modify, and suspend the program at any time without notice.

Superior Shores Package Information:

Qualifying packages include a weekend Spring Get-a-Way or a Gales of November package. Packages include:

• Two nights lodging in a lakeside, one bedroom suite

• Dinner for two one evening and breakfast for two one morning

Valid dates are from March 21–May 17 (Spring Get-a-Way) and October 24–December 20 (Gales of November), excluding Thanksgiving.
